BRANCH MANAGER – WATERFOOT
Our successful Waterfoot Branch is currently looking for an experienced and driven Branch Manager to lead the day-to-day running of the branch.
This is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for branch performance, customer relationships, team management, and ensuring high standards across operations, stock, logistics and health & safety.

The Role
Duties are varied and will include:
- Leading, motivating and developing the branch team to deliver excellent service and results
- Managing daily branch operations including stock control, logistics, merchandising and health & safety
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with trade and retail customers
- Driving branch performance, margin and sales targets through strong commercial focus
- Monitoring and improving operational standards, processes and efficiency
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures and industry standards
- Handling customer issues professionally and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong experience within a builders’ merchant / timber merchant / construction supply environment (essential)
- Proven leadership experience managing or supervising a team
- Commercial awareness and ability to drive performance and improve results
- Strong customer focus with excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Organised, proactive and able to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lead by example and maintain high standards across the branch
The Details
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £34,000 – £38,000 per year (dependent on experience and the expertise you can bring to the role)
Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Saturday Working: Minimum requirement – Saturdays worked on a rotational basis (2 on / 1 off, to meet business needs)
Location: Waterfoot (in person)
