Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Hand/Cook to join our team. Duties
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients
- Cook and serve meals according to established recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitising surfaces
- Support the team during busy service times to ensure smooth operation
- Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure efficient workflow
- Assist with inventory management and storage of food items
- Support serving staff when required, ensuring timely delivery of meals to customers
Skills
- Experience in food preparation and cooking is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
