Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff/Servers (18+) to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere while efficiently managing food and beverage orders. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued. Responsibilities
- Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests, ensuring prompt and courteous service
- Serve drinks and meals in accordance with health and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar and dining areas throughout shifts
- Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while providing informed recommendations
- Assist with food preparation and presentation as needed, adhering to food safety regulations
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system, including processing payments and giving change
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing enquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring guest satisfaction
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations
- Follow all health and safety procedures diligently, including food safety protocols
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or bar work is advantageous but not essential; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are key
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques
- Strong organisational skills with effective time management abilities
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Experience with upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales potential
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or public holidays as required; reliability is essential
