Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Paint Sprayer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying paint and coatings to various surfaces with precision and efficiency, ensuring high-quality finishes. Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as required
- Operate spray guns and other power tools to apply paint or coatings evenly across different materials
- Mix paints and colours accurately using basic maths skills to achieve desired finishes
- Inspect finished work for quality, consistency, and adherence to specifications
- Maintain equipment by cleaning spray guns, nozzles, and other tools after use
- Follow safety procedures diligently, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Assist with fabrication or assembly tasks as needed within the workshop or site
- Support the organisation of materials and supplies within the warehouse or work area
Experience
- Previous experience in construction painting is necessary
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly processes is desirable
- Mechanical knowledge and experience working with welding or fabrication techniques will be beneficial
- Basic maths skills for mixing paints and measuring materials accurately
- Experience working with construction or industrial painting projects is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for specific tasks.
This role requires a proactive attitude, good organisational skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to safety standards and quality workmanship.
Pay: £23.50 per hour
