Working closely with clients, trustees, advisers and internal stakeholders, you'll lead administration teams, build strong client relationships and support the delivery of our business objectives. This is an excellent opportunity to combine people leadership, client management and operational oversight in a role where you'll have a real impact on both client outcomes and team development.

Leading and developing administration teams, supporting performance, capability and service excellence.
-
Overseeing client service delivery, ensuring service levels, quality standards and client expectations are consistently met.
-
Managing client projects and annual service plans, including scheme events, regulatory changes and ad hoc initiatives.
-
Acting as an escalation point for complex client issues, complaints and service matters, driving effective resolutions and continuous improvement.
-
Taking responsibility for the commercial performance of client accounts, including profitability, fee reviews, billing and out-of-scope work.
-
Supporting business development activities, including proposals, pitches and identifying opportunities to expand services.
-
Providing technical expertise on complex pensions administration matters and ensuring services remain aligned with legislative and regulatory developments.
-
Driving operational improvements, process efficiencies and best practice across administration services.
-
Supporting recruitment, coaching and development activities, helping colleagues grow and succeed.
-
Deputising for senior leaders when required and representing the team with clients and key stakeholders.
-
Travelling to other Hymans Robertson offices and client locations as required.
A more detailed list of requirements for this position is available within the role profile – which is available on request.

-
A recognised professional qualification, or relevant pensions experience.
-
Strong experience managing workflows, projects and service delivery within a Third Party Administration or similar environment.
-
Good understanding of pensions legislation, administration best practice, service standards and regulatory requirements.
-
Experience working collaboratively with pensioner payroll teams and wider stakeholders.
-
Commercial awareness, with an understanding of client needs, service delivery and business objectives.
-
Strong leadership skills, with a commitment to developing, supporting and empowering colleagues.
-
Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and gain stakeholder buy-in.
-
A collaborative and inclusive approach, with a focus on teamwork and continuous improvement.
-
Proactive in personal development and passionate about supporting the growth and success of others.
We would also encourage applications from candidates who perhaps do not possess all the attributes and experience listed above but are competent with the majority and would be able to quickly develop the additional skills and experience required in post with our full support. We would also love to hear about other knowledge and experience you may have that is not listed but could be of interest.
