Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Phone Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of mobile devices and related hardware. Responsibilities
- Diagnose faults in mobile phones and electronic devices using schematics and technical manuals
- Perform repairs on various phone models, including screen replacements, battery swaps, and component repairs
- Utilise hand tools and specialised equipment to disassemble and reassemble devices with precision
- Conduct maintenance on hardware components to ensure optimal device performance
- Troubleshoot issues related to computer hardware, networking, and device connectivity as needed
- Follow safety procedures during all repair processes to prevent damage or injury
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts utilised for each device
- Keep work area organised and ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair and maintenance
- Proficiency with hand tools used in electronic repairs
- Familiarity with computer hardware components and repair techniques
- Ability to read and interpret schematics accurately
- Experience with computer repair and troubleshooting, including networking fundamentals
- Knowledge of computer networking principles relevant to device connectivity issues
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in documenting repair processes
