We are looking for enthusiastic and dynamic individuals to join our growing West African Restaurant team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who loves working with people, enjoys providing exceptional customer experiences and can confidently lead and motivate a team during busy service periods.
As the face of our restaurant, you will be responsible for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests. You will ensure customers receive outstanding service while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of front-of-house operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide excellent knowledge of menu items and make recommendations where appropriate
- Ensure guests have a memorable dining experience from arrival to departure
- Lead and support front-of-house staff during service
- Act as a host, managing customer seating and reservations where required
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation within the restaurant
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and management teams to ensure a seamless service
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a genuine passion for customer service
- Is confident, engaging and enjoys customer-facing roles
- Possesses excellent communication skills
- Can build rapport with customers from diverse backgrounds
- Has leadership experience or the confidence to lead a team
- Is energetic, proactive and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Maintains a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Has previous hospitality, restaurant, or waiting staff experience (preferred but not essential)
Pay: £12.71 per hour
