We are seeking an organised, detail-oriented, professional person to manage our day-to-day financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, streamlining accounting processes, and ensuring smooth and timely reporting using Xero. The role will involve supporting the wider business with book-keeping and financial administration tasks.
Reporting to our Business Manager, your role will include the following responsibilities/skills:
· Production of weekly and monthly finance reporting.
· Routine bank reconciliations, daily cash flow management, including accurate forecasting of collections and outgoings.
· Maintain controls and oversee Finance processes.
· Sales & purchase invoice processing.
· Management of all aspects of payroll.
· Monthly reconciliations of all balance sheet nominal ledger accounts.
· Preparation of monthly prepayments and accruals schedules, work in progress, depreciation, interest allocation, gross to net salary journals.
· Lead on the annual year end statutory accounts process.
· Support payroll and regulatory reporting requirements, including HMRC PAYE/VAT filings.
· Proficient in accounting software (ideally Xero Accounting) and Excel spreadsheets.

Keen to develop personally, part-qualified or an ambition to pursue
AAT (level 2 or above), ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualifications.
