Deputy Manager – Fosse Support Services
Location: Nottingham, with travel across Nottinghamshire
Salary: Up to £30,000 per year, depending on experience

About the Role
Fosse Support Services provides high-quality, person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs and complex support needs.
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Deputy Manager to support the delivery and development of our Supported Living and community-based services across Nottinghamshire.
Working closely with our Area and Registered Managers, you will help ensure services are safe, effective, well-led and CQC-ready, while supporting teams to deliver excellent outcomes for the people we support.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Team Leader, Deputy Manager or Service Manager looking to progress into a broader operational management role.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day management and oversight of services across Nottinghamshire.
- Support Registered Managers to maintain high-quality, person-centred services.
- Complete service visits, audits and quality assurance checks, ensuring actions are followed through.
- Support safeguarding, incident management, complaints and investigations.
- Monitor CQC compliance, staff training, medication, health and safety and service documentation.
- Support recruitment, induction, supervision and performance management.
- Provide management cover and support with staffing requirements when needed.
- Build positive relationships with the people we support, families, professionals and commissioners.
- Support new service developments and mobilisations.
- Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and high-quality care.
About You
You will be a confident, organised and compassionate leader with experience in health and social care and a commitment to delivering excellent services.
You will have:
- Management or leadership experience within health and social care.
- Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health or complex needs.
- A good understanding of CQC requirements, safeguarding and person-centred care.
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Experience supporting and developing staff.
- Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Flexibility to travel across Nottinghamshire.
A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care, or willingness to work towards this, would be advantageous.
