We are looking for a Casual Sales Assistant to join our little team. The ideal candidate will be confident and enthusiastic, and will play a crucial role in enhancing customer experience and driving sales!
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
- Maintain an organised sales floor, ensuring that merchandise is displayed attractively and is well-stocked.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale.
- Provide detailed product information and answer customer queries to enhance their shopping experience.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving stock, conducting stock checks, and reporting discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain high standards of customer service.
- Participate in promotional activities and assist with visual merchandising as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or sales environment is preferred but not essential.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and customer service.
- Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions and stock management.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
