Jones Bros Environmentals Ltd is looking for an experienced Tractor & Machinery Operator to join our busy, family-run rural contracting business in Mid Wales.
We undertake a varied range of agricultural, environmental, forestry and land-management work across Wales, so this is a hands-on role with plenty of variety rather than doing the same job every day.
The role
Depending on your experience, work may include:
- Operating tractors and agricultural machinery
- Tractor and flail work
- Excavator/digger operation
- Vegetation and ground management
- Fencing and rural contracting
- Working on agricultural, forestry and upland sites
- General machinery and site duties
Who we're looking for
We're looking for someone who is practical, reliable and confident around machinery, with previous experience operating tractors and/or other agricultural or construction plant.
Excavator/digger experience would be particularly useful, and relevant plant tickets or qualifications would be an advantage.
However, we're equally interested in hearing from people with strong practical experience, a good attitude and a sensible approach to machinery and site safety.
You should be comfortable working independently when required as well as being part of a small team.
Hours & Pay
This is potentially a full-time position with an immediate start available, although we can offer some flexibility for the right person. Competitive rates of pay, dependent upon experience, qualifications and capability. Work is predominantly across Mid Wales and surrounding areas.
