Join our team as an Apprenticeship Employer Engagement Officer
We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Apprenticeship Employer Engagement Officer to help grow and strengthen our relationships with employers and support the delivery of high-quality apprenticeship opportunities.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about skills development, workforce training, and creating opportunities for individuals to succeed. You will play a key role in engaging with employers, identifying apprenticeship opportunities, and supporting businesses throughout their apprenticeship journey.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with employers, industry partners, and stakeholders.
- Identify new apprenticeship opportunities and support employer growth through effective engagement.
- Promote apprenticeship programmes and explain the benefits of apprenticeships to businesses.
- Work closely with internal teams, employers, and apprentices to ensure a positive experience from initial enquiry through to completion.
- Support employers with apprenticeship processes, including recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing guidance.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to apprenticeship targets and performance reporting.
- Keep up to date with apprenticeship policy, funding requirements, and sector developments.
About you

- Has experience in employer engagement, business development, recruitment, account management, or a related role.
- Has excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Is confident engaging with employers across a range of sectors.
- Can work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
- Is organised, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities.
- Has a genuine commitment to improving career opportunities and supporting lifelong learning.
