Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Education and Professional Development to lead our organisation’s training initiatives and educational programmes. Duties
- Develop and execute innovative educational programmes aligned with organisational goals.
- Lead the creation of engaging training content using tools such as Adobe Captivate, ensuring materials are accessible and impactful.
- Deliver compelling presentations and workshops to various internal teams and external partners.
- Oversee the planning and coordination of professional development sessions, seminars, and conferences.
- Collaborate with senior management to identify training needs and tailor programmes accordingly.
- Evaluate programme effectiveness through feedback mechanisms and performance metrics, making improvements as necessary.
- Mentor and support trainers, facilitators, and instructional designers within the organisation.
- Stay abreast of industry trends in education technology and instructional design to maintain cutting-edge programme offerings.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in education leadership or professional development roles, with a strong emphasis on training delivery.
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences confidently.
- Demonstrable teaching experience across various formats, including virtual platforms.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
- Proficiency in Adobe Captivate or similar e-learning authoring tools is highly desirable.
- Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously whilst maintaining attention to detail.
- A recognised qualification in education, instructional design, or related fields is preferred but not essential.
