Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Road Sweeper Division Manager to lead and oversee the maintenance and operation of road sweeping services within our division. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of skilled operators, ensuring the efficient and effective cleaning of streets, highways, and public areas. Your leadership will help maintain safe, clean, and aesthetically pleasing environments while adhering to safety standards and operational protocols. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of road sweeping operators, ensuring high standards of safety, efficiency, and quality.
- Plan daily schedules and allocate resources effectively to cover assigned routes and areas.
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of sweeping equipment such as mechanical sweepers, excavators, and power tools.
- Conduct routine inspections of vehicles, and other machinery to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
- Implement preventative maintenance programs for all equipment to minimize downtime and extend service life.
- Ensure adherence to environmental regulations related to waste disposal, emissions, and pollution control during operations.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, operational logs, safety reports, and team performance metrics.
- Mechanical knowledge related to the operation and repair of sweepers.
- Proficiency with hand tools used in routine maintenance tasks.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly and effectively to minimize operational disruptions.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team while maintaining high safety standards.
- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members, contractors, and other departments.
Pay: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
