About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Goods In Warehouse Manager to join our busy team. This is a hands-on role responsible for managing the processing of incoming photocopier equipment, ensuring all devices are accurately assessed, securely data wiped, and recorded within our stock control systems.
The successful candidate will have a technical background, excellent attention to detail, and be comfortable working in both a warehouse and office environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining good flow of machines through the various stages of the goods in department
- Produce and submit daily assessment reports alongside the goods in supervisor
- Maintain accurate record keeping of where the machines have come from and pass this to the goods in supervisor
- Ensure the data wiping supervisor is performing secure hard drive wiping using Blancco software.
- Assist with loading and unloading equipment, following safe manual handling procedures.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties as required to support the business.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience working in a technical or engineering-related role.
- Competent using Microsoft Excel, spreadsheets and email.
- Experience of manual handling in a warehouse or similar environment.
- Valid Fork Lift Truck (FLT) licence/certification.
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a positive, flexible approach to work.
Desirable
- Experience working with photocopiers, printers or other office equipment.
- Experience using stock control or inventory management systems.
- Knowledge of secure data destruction processes.
