Weekend Cleansing Operative
Locations: Northampton, NN4 9RR
Hourly Rate: £12.71
Contract type: FTC – 6 Months
Working hours: 07: 30 - 15:30 Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays (7.5 hours per day)
About the role
Do you take pride in your community and enjoy working outdoors? We’re looking for a cleansing operative to help keep Northampton clean and tidy. As a visible and valued member of the team, you’ll be responsible for emptying bins, collecting litter, moving waste to designated collection points, and ensuring public areas remain welcoming for everyone.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively throughout the day
- Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Physically fit and able to carry out outdoor manual duties in all weather conditions
- Ability to interact politely with members of the public and represent the town positively
- Basic problem-solving skills and ability to use initiative
- Full UK Driving Licence Required
