Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Production Administrator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will coordinate production schedules, manage documentation, and support continuous improvement initiatives to ensure smooth manufacturing operations. Your mechanical knowledge and familiarity with ERP systems will be essential in maintaining high quality standards and process efficiency.
Main Job Purpose:
To ensure all work is planned and allocated as required in line with customer requirements and to remain up to date with all production administrative tasks.
Key Role Responsibilities:
· Project scheduling on a daily and monthly basis to meet delivery schedules including stock co-ordination.
· Daily progress checks of work being carried out on the shopfloor.
· Liaising with engineers on a regular basis.
· Liaising with customers to agree completion dates and delivery timescales.
· Booking transport for all deliveries.
· Arranging travel and accommodation bookings as required.
· Arranging and overseeing the maintenance of the building and all machinery as necessary.
· Reviewing job times and investigating any major differences between planned and actual production.
· Checking timesheets with clocking in reports/tracker reports/production plan on a weekly basis.
· Liaising with the Production Manager and completing reports, documents, and presentations in relation to a range of topics as required (e.g. health and safety, performance, absence etc)
· Taking minutes at meetings and liaising with the Accounts Department to arrange customer credit checks prior to the dispatch of any panels or parts.
· Any other administration duties required for the role.
· Reporting to all management as required.
· Adhering to health and safety legislation at all times.
· All other duties as required that are considered to be a reasonable employer request.
Essential Skills:
· Good computer skills including the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet Explorer.
· Good level of numeracy and literacy skills.
· Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
· Ability to handle pressure well and work to tight deadlines.
· Attention to detail and accuracy when producing work.
· An understanding of switchgear and low voltage switchgear systems would be beneficial.
· Experience with an ERP system would be advantageous.
· Previous experience in production coordinating would be beneficial.

Wage: Dependant upon experience
Job Type: Full-time, permanent
Hours: Monday – Friday 8am – 4.30pm
