The Role
As Kitchen Supervisor, you’ll be in charge of producing food and recipe components for MICRO in line with agreed site orders, recipes and production specifications. This is a hands-on role focused on production and kitchen service. You’ll work independently for some of the time, managing batch preparation, packing, labelling, stock and dispatch to ensure the Chelsea kitchen receives exactly what it needs, when it needs it. Accuracy and consistency are key. Every batch must be produced to specification, portioned correctly, labelled accurately and delivered in a condition that allows the site team to operate efficiently.

MICRO is a new wellness-led space opening in Chelsea, bringing together movement, wellbeing and a modern food and drink offer under one roof.
Our concept is all about fresh, functional and highly accessible food for both members and walk-in customers. The menu will include breakfast, lunch, snacks and wellness-focused food, with an emphasis on quality ingredients, consistency and efficient service.
Key Responsibilities
- Fulfil production orders from the MICRO Chelsea site, batch-producing to agreed recipes and specifications and planning production around order volumes and delivery dates
- Ensure all items are accurately labelled with key product details, including production/expiry dates and allergens, while verifying order precision prior to dispatch
- Keep detailed batch and traceability logs, alongside active monitoring of production yields, waste levels and operational variances
- Manage all aspects of ordering and stock control for CPU including packaging, ingredients and consumables.
- Monitor waste, yields and production variances
- Monitor daily prep and production levels, and coordinate kitchen services
- Follow all food safety, HACCP, allergen and health & safety procedures
- Work closely with the MICRO Kitchen Manager to understand upcoming requirements and changes in demand
- Shifts will be split between production shifts in the CPU kitchen and service shifts on site
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience working as a Chef, experience in production, catering or prep chef preferred but not required.
- Confident working independently and managing your own production schedule
- Comfortable working from standardised recipes and production specifications
- Food Safety Level 2
- Good communication skills and able to work closely with the site Kitchen Manager

Pay: £14.50-£15.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
