Duties:
- Deliver exceptional personal care to residents, including assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Supervise and support junior care staff, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure best practices are maintained
- Assist in developing, implementing, and reviewing individual care plans tailored to each resident’s needs
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote transparency and trust
- Maintain accurate documentation using IT systems for care records, incident reports, and care plan updates
- Support residents with medication administration following prescribed protocols
- Contribute to creating a safe, clean, and welcoming environment that promotes independence and dignity
Requirements
- Minimum 1 Year recent UK care experience as a Senior HCA or 6 Months experience as a Senior + Hold an NVQ Level 3
- Enhanced DBS for adults and children on the Update Service
- Flexibility to work across a 7-day rota (including weekends where required)
- Confident using moving and handling equipment
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Must complete a 1 day face to face training course
(If you do not currently have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, you will need to apply for one at a cost of £65.50)
