Elephant & Barrel at The Crown Hotel, Cricklewood
Elephant & Barrel is looking for an experienced and confident Supervisor/Duty Manager to help lead our front-of-house team at The Crown Hotel in Cricklewood.
This is a hands-on role for someone who remains calm under pressure, communicates clearly and knows how to create an excellent experience for every guest.
Key responsibilities:
Coordinating the front-of-house team during service
Delegating duties and ensuring staff are supported throughout their shifts
Maintaining Elephant & Barrel’s service and presentation standards
Communicating effectively between the bar, restaurant, kitchen and management teams
Handling customer concerns and complaints calmly and professionally
Finding appropriate solutions to ensure guests leave with a positive impression
Supporting opening and closing procedures
Helping to train, motivate and develop team members
Responding confidently to issues that arise during service
Leading by example during busy periods
What we are looking for:
Previous supervisory or duty-management experience within hospitality
A cool, calm and professional manner
Strong leadership and communication skills
Confidence when handling customer complaints and resolving problems
Excellent organisation and the ability to coordinate a busy team
A positive, hands-on approach
Reliability, punctuality and flexibility
A genuine commitment to high standards of customer service
