Job Summary
Multi Clad Limited is seeking experienced and motivated Fire Stopping Operatives to join our growing team. The role involves the installation of passive fire protection systems within occupied and unoccupied properties, ensuring all work is completed in accordance with manufacturers' installation instructions, tested system details and BM TRADA Q-Mark requirements. The successful candidate will carry out a range of fire protection works, including loft compartmentation and penetration sealing, maintaining the highest standards of workmanship, quality and safety.
Job Requirements:
- Valid CSCS Card (Blue Skilled Operative)
- Full UK Driver's License
- Own Tools
Desirable Qualifications/Experience:
- Fire Stopping NVQ
- Other Relevant Fire Stopping Qualifications
Key Responsibilities
- Install fire compartmentation systems within loft spaces.
- Carry out fire stopping to service penetrations, including pipes, cables, ducts and associated building services.
- Install certified passive fire protection systems in accordance with manufacturers' installation details and approved drawings.
- Read and accurately follow installation details, technical drawings and specifications.
- Ensure all work complies with BM TRADA Q-Mark requirements and relevant fire test evidence.
- Complete photographic records and quality assurance documentation.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping and safe working practices on site.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and fellow operatives to deliver projects safely and efficiently.
Pay: £20.00-£27.50 per hour
