We have an exciting opportunity for a Fleet Refurbishment Executive to join our team. Reporting to the Head of Fleet Refurbishment & Repairs and working within an established team of friendly fleet experts, you’ll be supporting the refurbishment and damage management of our growing car and van fleet across our UK network of repair and preparation centres.
This is an exciting and vital role within the Herd damage team, working alongside the best in the industry. Based at our head office in Weybridge, you’ll work with our incredible customers and national fleet suppliers to ensure vehicles are inspected, assessed and refurbished to the highest standards before returning to service or being remarketed.
Previous experience within a bodyshop, dealership service department or vehicle rental operation would be highly beneficial. In particular, candidates with experience identifying and recording vehicle damage at check-in will be well-suited to this role. Additional bodyshop or repair estimating experience and knowledge would also be an advantage.

Job Summary:
The Fleet Refurbishment Executive will work within our busy fleet operations team, supporting the management of vehicle damage, refurbishment and repair processes.
The successful candidate will process inspections of vehicle damage, liaise with repair suppliers, review damages, and ensure vehicles are progressed efficiently through refurbishment stages.
You will play a key role in ensuring vehicles are returned to the fleet or prepared for remarketing quickly, accurately and to agreed quality standards, while maintaining excellent communication with customers and suppliers.
This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviewing vehicle damage following off-hire inspections or site check-ins
- Supporting the coordination of refurbishment work across our repair and preparation network
- Liaising with repairers and preparation centres to obtain estimates and updates on vehicle progress
- Ensuring damage assessments and repair requirements are accurately documented
- Monitoring refurbishment turnaround times and pushing suppliers to meet agreed targets
- Supporting the resolution of customer queries relating to vehicle damage or refurbishment
- Maintaining clear records of damage, repairs and refurbishment activity
- Building strong relationships with our refurbishment partners and suppliers
- Escalating repair delays or quality concerns to senior team members when required
- Providing operational support to the wider fleet technical and refurbishment team
Requirements:
- You will need to be organised, detail-focused and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in identifying and recording vehicle damage would be highly advantageous
- Previous experience within a bodyshop, dealership service department, rental vehicle check-in, or fleet inspection role would be beneficial
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a clear focus on delivering excellent customer CARE
- Confidence communicating with customers, repair suppliers and internal teams
- The successful candidate must be willing to learn and develop new skills relating to fleet refurbishment, damage management and supplier coordination
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with good working knowledge of Excel and Word
- Full UK Driving Licence
