About the Role
Debrich Engineering and Digital Systems is looking for a Payroll & Benefits Coordinator to support the accurate and timely administration of employee payroll and benefits. The successful candidate will coordinate payroll activities, maintain employee records, assist with benefits administration, and ensure compliance with relevant UK payroll and employment requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support the end-to-end payroll process.
- Ensure payroll information is accurate and processed within required deadlines.
- Maintain and update employee payroll and benefits records.
- Process new starters, leavers, salary changes, and payroll adjustments.
- Administer employee benefits, allowances, deductions, and statutory payments.
- Respond to employee queries regarding payroll, payslips, deductions, and benefits.
- Liaise with HR, Finance, payroll providers, pension providers, and benefits suppliers.
- Ensure PAYE, National Insurance, pension contributions, and other deductions are processed accurately.
- Assist with payroll reconciliations, reporting, and audit requirements.
- Maintain confidential employee and payroll information in accordance with data protection requirements.
- Support annual payroll and benefits activities.
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies promptly.
- Identify opportunities to improve payroll and benefits processes.
What We Are Looking For
- Previous experience in payroll, benefits administration, HR administration, finance, or a related role.
- Good understanding of UK payroll processes, PAYE, National Insurance, and workplace pensions.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience handling confidential employee and financial information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll or HR systems.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and maintain accurate records.
- Knowledge of UK employment and statutory payroll requirements is desirable.
- Relevant qualification in Payroll, HR, Finance, Accounting, or a related field is an advantage.
Pay: £3,500.00-£4,000.00 per month
