We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of our equipment and facilities. This role requires a strong technical background, leadership qualities, and excellent problem-solving skills to minimise downtime and maintain safety standards across our operations.

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks as assigned via the Facilities Helpdesk and/or Building Manager.

Undertake daily building checks and complete inspection and compliance records as required.

Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with schedules and instructions, maintaining accurate records of work completed.

Respond promptly to reactive maintenance issues on site, prioritising health and safety, resolving issues where possible or escalating to specialist contractors when required.

Escort, supervise, and oversee external contractors and specialist maintenance providers while on site.

Identify and escalate maintenance issues that cannot be resolved internally.

Ensure adequate stock levels of building consumables and critical spares are maintained and replenished as required.

Set up, reconfigure, and change layouts of meeting rooms and event spaces when instructed.

Support Business Development activities, including pitch set‑ups and de‑rigs.

Plan and deliver a maintenance and decorating schedule for meeting rooms and general areas across the Publicis estate.

Work closely with the Facilities Helpdesk to support the planning and scheduling of requests logged directly and via ServiceNow, ensuring a flexible and high‑quality service.

Close allocated ServiceNow tickets accurately and within agreed timescales.

Assist with office moves, general office reconfigurations, and the installation and decommissioning of desk setups.

Collaborate with other members of the Facilities team (including Building Managers, Despatch, and Property teams) to ensure a consistently high standard of service delivery across the Groupe.

Maintain high standards of housekeeping, ensuring all work and storage areas are safe, clean, and well organised.

Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by the Building Manager that align with the role and level of responsibility.

Build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues, tenants, clients, contractors, and external stakeholders.

Communicate effectively and professionally, promoting a culture of excellent customer service and collaboration.

Maintain a professional appearance and attire suitable for the tasks being undertaken.

Show flexibility to work additional hours (including overtime) and across different Groupe‑managed buildings when required, for example to cover absences or provide additional support.
