Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages to guests, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks
- Take orders from customers and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Assist in food preparation and ensure food safety guidelines are followed
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible serving practices are followed
Skills:
- Culinary knowledge to assist with food preparation when needed
- Strong guest service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere
- Upselling abilities to promote menu items and increase sales
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Knowledge of food safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant setting
