We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and ambitious sales consultant to join the team within our Government contracts department within our Birtley branch. This is a great opportunity to enhance your career as we continue to expand our team, growing our national and large regional authority accounts.
Key role responsibilities and expectations include;
· A confident communicator both in person and over the phone.
· Processing customer orders & enquiries using our 21 branches, build relation’s
· Manage our own customer ledger , grow and build revenue & relationships
· A background in the supply of building/civils/timber or plumbing & heating materials would be beneficial along with relevant product knowledge, but not essential.
· Costing and outsourcing of non-stock items, while growing margins
· IT skills with experience of previous in house CRM systems would be beneficial
· Monitor & Manage existing material’s contracts & prosper for new business , using web based portals
· Monitor and action the departments customer overdue account payments report
· Assisting department manager with tender pricing , knowledge of Excel working would be beneficial
· Build relations with our key manufacture’s & suppliers
