22 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays = 30 days - 5 additional days with length of service reward
Base Hours Monday - Friday 9-5.30pm, with covering shifts through the year for colleagues holidays 6-2.30pm & 12-8.30pm (4 weeks of secondary shifts throughout the year as agreed)
Saturday mornings occasionally, paid as overtime additionally to salary + personal expenses towards mobile phone.
This is an great opportunity for a high performing, motivated, hands-on Transport Planner, to join our existing team.
You will be responsible and accountable for-
· Planning our vehicles effectively to achieve on time deliveries
· Ensure all customer collections are achieved.
· Changing schedules to meet customer/network demands.
· Liaising with drivers and colleagues to ensure all day-to-day activities are met to the highest possible standards.
· Ensuring our drivers are delivering effectively and reporting delays effectively.
· Trouble shooting critical transport related issues as they arise in a live environment.
Skills & Attributes:
· The ability to utilise and manage people effectively.
· Full training for the in-house systems will be provided, however a good knowledge of computer skills will be required.
· Flexible approach with regards to working hours
· Able to work under pressure in a time-critical environment.
· Well organised with an acute attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.

Pay: £33,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
