The Council is seeking a confident, personable and technically strong chartered surveyor with previous people, client and property management experience.
Working within the Operational Estate Team, you will be involved in property management issues throughout the Council's Operational Property Portfolio and giving estates surveying advice to the Council's service areas. This will include acting for the Council as both landlord and tenant or property owner in property transactions including leases, licences, wayleaves/servitudes, acquisitions. The successful candidate will also undertake asset valuations for the Council's asset register and statutory accounts.
You must have full membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS or FRICS) within the Commercial Property, Valuation or Planning & Development professional groups. You will also either currently be an RICS Registered Valuer or eligible for registration. Relevant work experience, especially in property management and leasing is essential.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.
