Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Breakfast Chef/Commis Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook breakfast dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients for breakfast menus, including chopping, peeling, and measuring
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are strictly adhered to at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and work surfaces
- Support the team during busy periods by efficiently managing multiple orders
- Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all staff members
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver exceptional service and optimise kitchen operations
- Assist with stock control, inventory management, and ordering supplies as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a professional kitchen or restaurant environment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods specific to breakfast dishes
- Understanding of food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
