The Role
We're seeking a Working Supervisor on a self-employed basis to manage our groundworks projects and keep things moving on-site. This is a hands-on role where you'll lead from the front – supervising the lads, keeping standards high, and getting stuck in yourself when needed. You'll be responsible for:
Site Management: Running daily operations, ensuring H&S is tight and work quality is spot-on
Team Leadership: Managing crews of operatives, keeping morale up and keeping everyone on track
Getting Your Hands Dirty: Working alongside the team when required, not just pointing fingers from the sidelines
Health & Safety: Making sure everything's done properly and safely; keeping paperwork in order
Quality Control: Checking work meets spec; sorting issues before they become problems
Planning & Logistics: Organizing materials, equipment, and coordinating with the officeProblem-Solving: Dealing with on-site challenges and keeping management in the loop
What We're Looking For
Solid groundworks experience in a supervisor role
CSCS Card, SSSTS
Know your stuff when it comes to groundworks and H&S regs
Can lead a team but aren't afraid of hard graft
Reliable, punctual, quality-focused
Valid driving license (essential)SMSTS/First Aid (desirable)
Pay: £250.00-£320.00 per day
