Trading Base Ltd – Road Haulage Contractors are looking for enthusiastic, professional class 1 drivers to work from our operating centre in Kettering on general haulage.
Weekly pay.
Various positions:
- Days with ad-hoc / occasional nights out (1-2 nights out per week)
- Days-only (no nights out)
- Trampers (3-4 nights out per week) - Limited requirements currently
Salary based on basic 45 hrs per week plus overtime thereafter
Night out payments plus parking expenses
Weekly Compliance and performance bonus after qualifying period.
Breaks paid
On target earnings including basic wage, overtime and bonus is +£47,500 - 50,000pa
In addition to this, night out payments of £26 per night (PAYE and NI free) plus expenses.
Drivers CPC training funded by us
Candidates must:
- Hold a current Drivers CPC qualification
- Have a maximum of 6 points on licence (employment will be terminated if this is exceeded during employment)
- Have excellent level of spoken English & communication
- Have experience of using curtainside trailers for collections and deliveries including securing loads via both internal Straps and Ratchets Straps

** Please note - we cover nationwide collections and deliveries and whilst much of the work is to / from manufacturers, producers, RDCs, docks and other major industrial areas, we also deliver to a variety of different locations that require opening and closing trailer curtains and securing loads with ratchet straps. This could occasionally include all major cities including the Greater London area. **
As our MD and owner says, we'd never plan a driver out on a run that he wouldn't do himself!
