Residential Conveyancer – Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or CILEX Professional
Stratford Solicitors is looking for an experienced and approachable Residential Conveyancer to join our friendly team.
This is an office-based position offering a salary of between £40,000 and £50,000, depending on experience, plus a generous bonus scheme with OTE comfortably in excess of £60,000.
We are looking for a qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or CILEX professional with at least five years’ post-qualification experience. You will manage your own residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion, supported by a welcoming team that takes pride in delivering a personal and professional service.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing a varied caseload of freehold and leasehold residential transactions.
- Handling sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity.
- Drafting and reviewing contracts, transfer documents and title documentation.
- Managing SDLT submissions, post-completion matters and Land Registry applications.
- Keeping clients updated and providing clear, practical advice throughout their transaction.
- Working closely with estate agents, lenders, brokers and other solicitors.
- Identifying and resolving title issues.
- Maintaining accurate files and ensuring matters progress efficiently.
- Keeping up to date with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
What we’re looking for:
- At least five years’ PQE as a Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or CILEX professional.
- Experience managing residential conveyancing matters independently.
- Good knowledge of both freehold and leasehold transactions.
- A friendly and confident approach to client care.
- Clear and professional communication skills.
- Strong organisation and attention to detail.
- The ability to manage deadlines while maintaining a high standard of work.
- Confidence using legal case-management systems.
