Role Overview
The Business Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, developing client relationships, and increasing sales across our travel products and services. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and an interest in the travel industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and digital channels.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, organisations, and individual customers.
- Promote and sell a wide range of travel services, including flights, holidays, cruises, group travel, business travel, and bespoke travel packages.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and presentations tailored to client requirements.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing while maintaining profitability.
- Achieve and exceed individual sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Maintain accurate customer records using the company's CRM system.
- Follow up on enquiries promptly and manage the sales pipeline effectively.
- Attend networking events, exhibitions, and industry events to generate new business.
- Work closely with the operations and reservations teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Stay informed about travel trends, destinations, supplier promotions, and competitor activity.
- Deliver exceptional customer service before, during, and after the sales process.
Skills & ExperienceEssential
- Proven experience in a sales, business development, or account management role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
- Target-driven with a proven track record of achieving sales goals.
- Highly organised with excellent time management skills.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full right to work in the UK.
Desirable
- Experience within the travel, tourism, or hospitality industry.
- Knowledge of UK and international travel products.
- Experience using travel booking systems such as Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre.
- Existing network of corporate or leisure travel clients.
