Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Finishing Operative to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing the final stages of Flexible film, ensuring quality standards are met, and preparing items ready for packing. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills, operating your own machine, plus on going training to learn the other 5 machines in the finishing department.
Duties
- Perform detailed finishing tasks to specifications.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet company standards before packaging.
- Handle reels and manoeuvre materials safely within the finishing department.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in manufacturing, warehouse work, or assembly roles is preferred..
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical fitness to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks throughout shifts.
- Previous experience with assembly processes is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
Pay: £24,420.00-£30,540.00 per year
