Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Hard Landscaper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, and maintaining outdoor landscapes, ensuring high standards of quality and safety. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on diverse projects, from garden design to large-scale construction sites, contributing to the realisation of aesthetically pleasing and functional outdoor spaces. Candidates should possess a strong background in landscape maintenance and construction, with practical experience using a variety of tools and machinery.
Responsibilities
- Execute landscape construction tasks including the installation of patios, pathways, walls, and other hardscape features.
- Operate machinery such as excavators and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Use hand tools and mechanical equipment to prepare sites, lay materials, and carry out repairs.
- Assist with site preparation, including excavation, levelling, and soil conditioning.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to plan projects effectively and meet deadlines.
- Conduct routine maintenance on tools and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, construction or gardening roles.
- Mechanical knowledge related to operating excavators, power tools.
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as shovels, trowels, saws, and levels.
- Knowledge of horticulture principles and garden management practices.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to construction sites and machinery operation.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining attention to detail.
- Physical fitness suitable for manual labour tasks including lifting heavy materials and working on uneven terrain.

Pay: £27,000.00-£41,600.00 per year
