We are looking for an experienced and motivated nurse who can provide visible clinical leadership within a busy and dynamic ambulatory cancer service. The successful candidate will bring extensive experience in oncology and/or haematology nursing, with a sound understanding of Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) and the complex needs of patients receiving cancer treatment and supportive care.
You will be an effective leader with the ability to motivate, support and develop staff, fostering a positive team culture and maintaining high standards of patient care. Excellent communication, organisational and decision-making skills are essential, alongside the ability to manage competing priorities and lead service improvements in a fast-paced environment.
The role requires a compassionate, patient-focused approach, a commitment to quality and safety, and the confidence to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams. Experience in administering intravenous chemotherapy and leading change would be highly advantageous.
Most importantly, you will bring enthusiasm, resilience and a passion for continuously improving the experience and outcomes of patients and their families.
