Warehouse Supervisor – Tyre Wholesale (Partridge Green)
Full-Time | Family-Run Business | Saturday Morning Rota
We are an established tyre wholesale business based in Partridge Green, West Sussex (just outside Horsham). We now require an additional Supervisor.
About the Role:
Our Supervisors are integral to the smooth operation and day-to-day running of this 40 thousand+ tyre warehouse. They help to ensure orders for Pirelli, Bridgestone, Continental, Michelin, and many tyres you won’t have heard of, are picked, loaded, and dispatched efficiently both to our customers (including major, high-end dealerships) and regional depots across the length and breadth of the south of England. This, and the intake of over 2500 tyres a day.
Main Responsibilities:
· Overseeing and assists with daily warehouse duties, including picking, loading, and stock handling
· Organising a team of Warehouse Ops; ensuring the depot runs efficiently
· Is a keyholder, with responsibility - in time - for closing up at the end of the day
· Opens up and runs a Saturday morning – once fully trained and familiar with the role - on a rota basis
What we are looking for
· A proactive, dependable individual with good attention to detail
· A knowledge of warehouse & logistics operations is welcome, but not essential
· A good communicator
· A good organising mindset
· A clear willingness to take on responsibility
