Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Business Support Administrator to work directly with the company director and assist with the day-to-day administration of the business.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organisation, structure, and problem solving. The successful candidate will provide administrative support across the business while also assisting the director with managing documentation, communications, and internal processes.
The position plays a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the back office and supporting the coordination of business activities across the organisation.
The ideal candidate will be reliable, highly organised, and capable of managing multiple administrative tasks in a fast-paced working environment.
Responsibilities
The Business Support Administrator will work closely with the company director and assist with the following tasks:
- Provide direct administrative support to the director
- Manage emails, correspondence, and general business communications
- Organise and maintain company documentation and digital filing systems
- Prepare letters, reports, proposals, and internal documents
- Assist with organising meetings, appointments, and schedules
- Support day-to-day office administration and operational tasks
- Maintain accurate records and data entry across company systems
- Assist with preparing quotes, reports, and documentation for clients
- Help coordinate communication between departments
- Manage incoming phone calls and direct enquiries where appropriate
- Assist with maintaining internal procedures and documentation
- Support the preparation of business reports and operational updates
- Ensure administrative processes are organised and running efficiently
Requirements
- Previous administrative or office experience preferred
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Confident using computers and office software
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Professional and reliable work ethic
