First Service Frozen Foods Ltd - Sales Representative
First Service Frozen Foods require a Sales representative to sell Ice Cream and Frozen Food products into our existing and prospective customer database and help towards achieving company targets. This will include regular visits to existing leads, following up new sales enquiries generated by the sales office and cold calling on customers while out in the field.
Core Responsibilities
- New Business: Find new customers via cold calling while on the road, networking with existing customers and following up sales leads generated by existing Telesales Team and our Suppliers.
- Existing Sales Calls: Develop existing customer spend by selling New Products launched by the Suppliers and selling in products from other categories that we stock. Taking orders at each call where possible and sending through to the telesales team.
- Negotiation: Discuss pricing and discounts with customers and agree supply agreements where possible.
- Reporting: Report back to the office with daily call coverage and journey planning. Ensure Customer records are completely up to date and inform the office of any changes with customer contact details. Complete weekly and monthly records of calls, orders and New Business.
Key Skills and Requirements
- Communication: Outgoing and able to engage with customers and active listening skills.
- Resilience: Ability to handle rejection and work toward strict targets.
- Organisation: Time management is essential to complete daily calls and achieve weekly targets
- IT Literacy: Microsoft Office and Sage Line 50 although not essential
- Driving Licence: Full Driving Licence required.
Package
Hours – Monday to Thursday (4 days per week) based on 8.30 -5.30 with 30 minutes lunch
Salary + OTE PA based on experience
Holiday 20 days per annum pro rata – (16 days)
Pay: From £24,000.00 per year
