Electrical Engineer / Junior Electrical Engineer
We are looking for an Electrical Engineer / Junior Electrical Engineer to join our growing team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with an interest in electrical engineering who is looking to develop their skills and gain experience across a range of engineering and control panel projects.
The Role
The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of engineering activities, including:
- Preparing and providing customer quotations.
- Designing and developing electrical control panels.
- Producing and reviewing electrical designs and documentation.
- Selecting and specifying suitable electrical components.
- Ordering parts and materials required for projects.
- Liaising with suppliers and customers where required.
- Supporting projects from initial quotation through to completion.
- Working closely with other members of the engineering team.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Able to work independently and use their own initiative.
- Comfortable working as part of a team.
- Organised and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Practical and willing to learn.
- Interested in developing a career within electrical engineering.
- Able to communicate effectively with colleagues, customers and suppliers.
- Detail-oriented, particularly when working with electrical designs and component specifications.
Previous experience in control panel design, AutoCAD, switchboard design or quotations would be advantageous, although we are also happy to consider a junior engineer with the right attitude and willingness to learn.
