We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Labourer to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, trimming, mowing, and garden care to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery safely and effectively for various construction and maintenance activities
- Support excavation work using equipment like excavators, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
- Perform routine maintenance on tools, equipment, and machinery to ensure optimal performance and longevity
- Help install irrigation systems, fencing, and other outdoor structures with precision and attention to detail
- Carry out general site cleanup, debris removal, and organization of materials to maintain a safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members on project tasks, following instructions carefully to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction, landscaping, gardening, or horticulture is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with tools and equipment
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as excavators is advantageous
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, digging, and standing for extended periods
- Strong work ethic with a focus on safety procedures and teamwork
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques or horticulture practices is a plus
- Willingness to learn new skills related to irrigation systems, equipment operation, and site maintenance
