Meat & Social is an independent steakhouse and butcher-led restaurant in the heart of Wembley Park. Built around premium ingredients, expert butchery and bold, flavour-driven cooking, we're passionate about delivering exceptional food and genuine hospitality in a modern, welcoming environment.
Working alongside our talented Head Chef, Sous Chef and in-house Master Butcher, you'll gain hands-on experience with premium cuts of meat, develop your butchery knowledge and be part of a close-knit team that takes pride in quality, consistency and teamwork.

The Role
As Chef de Partie, you'll be responsible for running your own section and delivering consistently high standards during every service. You'll work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to ensure every dish leaving the kitchen reflects the quality and standards that Meat & Social is known for.

Key Responsibilities & Kitchen Operations
- Run your designated section during service with confidence and consistency.
- Prepare, cook and present dishes to company standards.
- Maintain excellent organisation and mise en place before every service.
- Support other sections when required to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Follow recipes and specifications while maintaining high presentation standards.
- Contribute ideas for specials and future menu development.
Food Quality & Standards
- Ensure every dish meets our quality and consistency expectations.
- Work with premium ingredients while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
- Minimise waste through effective stock rotation, storage and portion control.
Hygiene & Compliance
- Maintain exceptional food hygiene and cleanliness throughout every shift.
- Follow HACCP procedures and all food safety legislation.
- Ensure allergen procedures are followed at all times.
Teamwork
- Work closely with the Head Chef, Sous Chef and wider kitchen team.
- Support and encourage Commis Chefs and junior team members.
- Help create a positive, professional and supportive working environment.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Chef de Partie within a quality kitchen.
- Strong Demi Chef de Parties or experienced Commis Chefs looking to step up will also be considered.
- Passion for cooking with quality ingredients.
- Confidence running your own section during busy services.
- Excellent organisation and time management.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and peak trading periods.
- Good spoken English.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Previous experience working in a steakhouse or butcher-led kitchen is advantageous but not essential.
