We are looking for a Café Assistant / Barista to join our busy team here at Café Ambio, J36. At Café Ambio we make everything on site from cakes, bakes, specials and deli items. We proudly hold a 5 star EHO food rating. We are the sole catering provider to North West Auctions Weekly Auctions, J36 Exhibition Hall (offering a range of buffets) and our own Function Suite.
As a general Café Assistant / Barista the role is front of house based, serving on the counter, making drinks, taking orders etc. What the role entails:
- Serving customers.
- Till work.
- Cash handling
- Making hot and cold beverages.
- Talking to customers.
- Setting up function
- Cleaning.
- Washing up.

What's required:
- Till experience preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
- Barista experience preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
The important stuff:
- Salary - up to £12.71 per hour , depending on age.
- 35 Hours per week - overtime is available. We open between 35 and 40 hours per week.

- Hours are 8.30am - 4:30pm any 5 days from 6. We are usually closed on Sundays and Bank Holidays. Occasional evening work will be required. Closed for the majority of the festive period.
