Shropshire Respite Centre is a friendly, family-owned residential care home providing high-quality, person-centred care to older adults. We are looking for two compassionate and reliable Morning Care Assistants to join our dedicated team.

The Role
Our morning team plays a vital role in helping residents start their day comfortably and confidently. You will work alongside an experienced team to provide high-quality personal care while promoting each person's independence and choice.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting residents to get up and begin their day safely.
- Assisting with washing, bathing, showering, dressing and personal hygiene.
- Supporting residents with toileting and continence care where required.
- Encouraging residents to remain as independent as possible.
- Providing reassurance, companionship and emotional support.
- Assisting residents to move safely using appropriate equipment where required.
- Supporting residents with breakfast, hydration and nutrition.
- Maintaining accurate electronic care records using our digital care system.
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure residents receive outstanding person-centred care.
- Maintaining high standards of dignity, respect, privacy and infection prevention.

Previous care experience is desirable but not essential, as full training and ongoing support will be provided for the right candidate.
