Experienced Groundsworker & Landscaper (Team Leader)
We are looking for an experienced Groundsworker and Landscaper to join our growing, self-employed team. We're looking for someone who can take the lead on projects, manage jobs from start to finish, and play a key role in building the business.
As one of the first members of the team, you will be trusted to lead on-site operations, assess and quote for work, and help recruit and oversee additional labourers as the company grows.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage landscaping and groundwork projects.
- Carry out all aspects of hard and soft landscaping to a high standard.
- Prepare and provide accurate quotations for customers.
- Plan and organise work schedules and site operations.
- Supervise and support labourers on-site.
- Help recruit and build a reliable team as the business expands.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
- Maintain excellent customer relationships and represent the company professionally.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in groundswork and landscaping.
- Proven ability to manage projects and lead a team.
- Confident quoting and pricing jobs.
- Strong knowledge of landscaping materials, machinery, and groundwork techniques.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
