Stuart Taylor International is one of the UK's leading suppliers of ground care, agricultural and specialist machinery. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Mobile Service Engineer to join our expanding team.
Working from our Blackburn depot, you will travel to customer sites carrying out servicing, repairs and diagnostics on a wide range of professional groundcare, agricultural and plant equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs at customer premises.
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Complete job sheets and service reports accurately.
- Maintain high levels of customer service and professionalism.
- Ensure company vehicles and equipment are maintained to a high standard.
- Work closely with the workshop and parts departments to ensure efficient repairs.
- Occasionally assist within the workshop when required.
Equipment You'll Work On
- Ride-on and pedestrian mowers
- Compact and agricultural tractors
- Utility vehicles (UTVs)
- Wood chippers
- Flail mowers
- ATV and quad equipment
- Groundcare and estate machinery
What We're Looking For
- Experience as a service engineer, agricultural engineer, plant fitter or groundcare mechanic.
- Strong mechanical fault-finding skills.
- Knowledge of diesel and petrol engines.
- Hydraulic and electrical diagnostic experience is desirable.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- Trailer towing experience is an advantage.
