Warwick Gates Family Health Centre is looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate General Practice Nurse to join our experienced and supportive clinical team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated nurse who enjoys delivering high-quality, evidence-based care in a modern, forward-thinking GP practice. You'll work alongside GPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Nursing Associates, Healthcare Assistants and our wider multidisciplinary team to provide outstanding care to our local community.
About the Role
As our Practice Nurse, you'll provide a wide range of clinical services, including:
- Chronic disease management (including asthma and COPD)
- Cervical screening
- Childhood, adult and travel immunisations
- Wound care, leg ulcer management and Doppler assessments
- Health promotion and lifestyle advice
- Long-term condition reviews
- Infection prevention and control
- Accurate clinical record keeping using EMIS Web
- Working collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes
You'll also contribute to service development, quality improvement initiatives and achieving Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) targets.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
Essential
- Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
- Experience working in General Practice or Primary Care (or transferable experience)
- Experienced in chronic disease management
- Competent in immunisations and vaccinations
- Experienced in wound care
- Confident using electronic clinical records
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Passionate about delivering patient-centred care
Desirable
- Cervical Cytology qualification
- Experience using EMIS Web
- Experience with QOF and long-term condition management
(Training can be supported for the right candidate where appropriate.)

Pay: £27,500.00-£35,000.00 per year
