Role Purpose:
If you have answered yes to the above questions then we have an exciting opportunity to work with the award-winning team at Business Energy Direct. As a Utility Connections Project Co-ordinator you will become part of an experienced team which manages a large portfolio of clients. Our current client portfolio covers many different sectors of business and ranges from small SME businesses to large corporate customers and internationally recognised brands.
The Project Co-Ordinator will be responsible for ensuring the timely and successful delivery of new utilities connections projects, keeping all stakeholders informed and dealing with any issues as they arise. You will also be given the autonomy to develop and grow the internal processes to help achieve timely and successful delivery and ideally will have experience in co-ordinating multi-utilities connections – gas, water and electricity.
It would also be beneficial if you also had experience of business development management as part of the role will be looking out for and creating opportunities to grow the portfolio and bring on board more new clients and win new business.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage applications for the provision of new supplies, upgrades and service alterations.
- Communicate any issues or delays and relay their impact to all key stakeholders
- Manage client expectations around project delivery
- Assist in advising clients on the best possible course of action for their projects
- Develop excellent relationships with new and existing clients and partners/suppliers
- Co-ordinate with suppliers and agents to ensure clarity on deliverables, costs and time scales
- Look to grow and expand the current client portfolio
Experience Required:
- Experience in utilities connections / metering /site works
- Ability to analyse existing service connections to determine suitability for clients.
- Ideally some experience in project co-ordination
- Organised, able to prioritise high work-loads and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional administration skills to enable management of multiple and critical tasks
- Excellent communication skills, not just on the phone but also face to face and in writing
- Capable of co-ordinating a number of complex utility connection projects.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office
Reward Package
You will also be offered a generous commission/reward structure and salary will be based upon previous experience and negotiable. Business Energy Direct offices are based at Manvers, Rotherham and include free onsite parking. Working hours are typically Monday - Friday 9.00 - 5.30 (we may ask for you to be flexible during some of our peak times).
