We are looking for a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is someone with a strong sense of style, a passion for beauty, and a desire to learn and grow within the industry.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant salon environment, providing hair and beauty services while building strong client relationships and contributing to the growth of the salon.
We are LoA Tokyo Hair Salon, newly opened in April 2026 in the Northern Quarter, Manchester. Our salon is inspired by Tokyo’s high-standard techniques and hospitality, bringing a fresh Japanese salon concept to the UK. Responsibilities
- Provide hair cutting, colouring, styling, and finishing services based on client preferences
- Assist with beauty services such as eyelash extensions and makeup application (if capable)
- Support reception duties including booking appointments, client consultations, and payments
- Recommend products and services to improve client satisfaction and salon performance (upselling)
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Assist with general salon operations such as stock control and organisation
- Deliver excellent customer service and build strong client relationships
Skills & Requirements
- No formal qualifications or licences required
- Beginners and those new to the industry are welcome
- Strong interest in the beauty industry and willingness to learn and develop new skills
- English communication skills are essential
- Interest in Japanese language and culture (training/support can be provided)
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to take feedback
- Team player with a professional and friendly approach to customers
- Good time management and ability to handle multiple appointments
About LoA Tokyo
LoA Tokyo is a new salon concept bringing Tokyo-level hair techniques and Japanese hospitality to Manchester.
We originally established our first salon in Tokyo, and Manchester is our second location, bringing our Japanese salon philosophy and standards to the UK.

Pay: £24,420.00-£51,749.44 per year
