Duties
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety at all times
- Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments and materials, maintaining strict sterilization protocols
- Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and offering reassurance
- Manage patient records accurately using IT systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection standards
- Support with administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling, patient reminders, and maintaining clinical supplies
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the clinical environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with patients in English, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills to foster trust and rapport
Requirements
- Fully qualified as a dental nurse with relevant certification or registration from a recognized body
- Proven experience in patient care within a dental setting
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in IT systems used for managing patient records and practice administration
- Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently and accurately
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative and independence when needed
- Knowledge of current health and safety standards applicable to dental practices
Previous private or specialist dental experience would be advantageous, but most importantly, we are looking for someone with the right attitude who takes pride in their work and genuinely cares about the patient experience.

Pay: £13.00-£16.00 per hour
